About Yorika Attard

Having performed and lived in Malta, London and USA, Yorika has extensive performing experience. Yorika also graduated with a Higher Diploma from Musicians Institute in Hollywood and She also just recently graduated from a Master’s in Popular Music Performance with a distinction from the University of East London.

Yorika cultivated this passion for music at a very young age of 6, starting piano and singing lessons. Her love and passion for music grew and at 15, she decided to further her music studies abroad by attending a program at Berklee College of Music in 2011. The school inspired Yorika to start writing, with her first song ‘Killin Me’ winning Berklee’s songwriting competition and later being awarded the President’s Creativity Award. While in Malta, Yorika has had the privilege of performing at prestigious events and venues such as Beerfest, Rockestra and Manoel Theatre. Yorika also proves to be very musically educated.

Highlights for Yorika were when she sang at the famed Whisky a-go-ago, Bark at the Moon and Hard Rock Café Hollywood in Los Angeles; and Gabeto and the Fiddler in London. Yorika has also just recently released her first official single ‘Shout’ which was received very well among her listeners and also listed as a finalist in the American Songwriting Awards. She has also performed in several venues, pubs and weddings in Malta.
