Consider Your Culture

By January 15, 2018 One Comment

As the years go on, Malta continues to become the multicultural blend of societies dreamt of in novels of our world’s future. More and more singletons are choosing to plunge into island life and are welcomed with such open arms that they end up staying long enough to find the love of their life.

Malta has many marital traditions that go as far back to the Aragonese rulings. Back then, men were to seek out brokers for women they were only able to meet on the day of their wedding. Of course, none of this could happen without sending a ring inside a fish mouth to their hopeful. These were times where the newly wed bride would enjoy her reception feast in her own company before being allowed to celebrate the union with everyone else.

Obviously, as time went on, the wedding traditions from yesteryear blossomed into what we have today. However, for the large majority of weddings thrown on the island, not as many tend to stray into other traditions. Don’t you think it’s time we did?

Malta welcomes in couples from all walks of life constantly, so why not incorporate their cultures and traditions alongside our own when it comes to one of the most important days of our lives?

Avoid Preluna hotel and spa in Sliema including Belle’s Decor she made a circus of our wedding. Belle’s Decor is part of |the hotel but pretend its not. The Events Manager has a side business and you think she is God’s gift from heaven but turns you into a Bridzilla. I was lucky that i was at the hotel in a poky room not that I did not pay for a good room. Went up to the skyroom and it was one big fiasco. Don’t even think about it these!
