While much more emphasis has always been placed on the role of bridesmaid rather than that of groomsman by society, it doesn’t make the role less important, in fact, groomsmen do as much as bridesmaids both before the big day as well as during it. From organizing the bachelor party to taking care of any last minute things, being a groomsman is no cakewalk. Here are a few ways you can show your appreciation for all your groomsmen’s hard work.
1. Personalised cufflinks
Add that little something extra to their outfits on the big day and give each groomsman a set of personalised cufflinks which they can wear not only on the big day itself but after it too. Although many men don’t particularly like or wear jewellery, a pair of cufflinks is something that will never go out of style and which they will be able to use over and over again. The personalisation of them with their initials makes for the perfect touch.
2. A personalised whiskey decanter
For the whiskey connoisseurs amongst your groomsmen, it’s hard to think of a nicer gift than a personalised decanter where they can store their favourite tipple. Not only does this make for an impressive gift but it’s definitely something for them to cherish and display long after the big day has passed.

3. A high-end toiletry bag with their favourite toiletry pieces
Grooming has made a big comeback with many men regularly visiting the barber and purchasing items such as fragrant beard oil and various waxes. If you know that your groomsmen are into that kind of thing, take the opportunity to treat them to a lovely supply of luxurious pieces which will have them looking and feeling their absolute best.

4. A nice wallet or cardholder
Make a splash and get your groomsmen a nice leather wallet or cardholder. Many people are opting to give groomsmen cardholders instead of wallets because they are a lot less bulky and take up less room which means that they’re easier on the pocket space. For the ultimate thoughtful piece, get his initials hot stamped in gold or silver in the corner.

5. A personalised knife
For the more outdoorsy groomsman, a personalised knife will go down a treat. Not only can you engrave something meaningful on the wooden handle (if you choose one with a wooden handle that is) but you can even personalise the leather pouch or sheath the knife is kept in. Just because it looks nice, it doesn’t make it less effective!
