Brand-spanking new features in Get Hitched

After weeks of hard work and endless cups of coffee, we are super excited to announce the launch of 2 major features, taking Get Hitched to the next level!

Brand-spanking new vendor dashboard

We’ve completely revamped the vendor dashboard adding a number of improvements and benefits. With the new user-interface (UI), requests are now listed in an Inbox (similar to how they are displayed in most major email clients like Gmail) giving you a holistic view of all the requests you have received, accepted, are working on, or declined.

Not only does this UI make it easier to manage your requests but it also significantly improves the page load speed and eliminates unnecessary scrolling.


This has additional awesome features and benefits:

  • You can now chat with couples directly from the dashboard, reducing the number of clicks you have to make to compose a message.
  • Every message you send is tracked, thus letting you know if your message was opened and read, or not.
  • You can save a default message (or template). Not only will this save you even more time, but will also help your sales approach.

Note: To be clear, whilst you are not forced to use this system, we strongly encourage you to do so because of its many benefits as explained above.

Brand-spanking new user dashboard: The Get Hitched Wedding Board

As soon as couples receive a message you send from the vendor dashboard, they will receive an email inviting them to view your message. By accepting this invite, they will be automatically logged into their Wedding Board to view your message.

Here’s more information on how it works:

  • Their Wedding Board will show the different requests a user has submitted and the number of messages they have received per request.
  • Once they click on ‘View Conversation’ they will be presented with their communication portal.
  • Users may use this chat to respond to each vendor by sending a direct message.
  • Every time a user sends you a message, you will be notified by email.
  • The portal will also list each vendor’s contact details should they wish to contact you directly.

What this means for you and your business

  1. We’re making it easier for you and the wedding couples to communicate.
  2. We’re showing you who has or hasn’t read your messages.
  3. We’re refunding you credits if a user does not open your messages.
  4. We will automatically send reminders to those who haven’t opened/read your message.
  5. We’re saving you time and hassle.
  6. We’re continuously investing in and developing more value for you as a vendor as well as couples.
