Happy birthday to us! It was our 2nd birthday a few days ago during the MFCC Weddings Fair in Malta. Once again, for the 3rd year running, Get Hitched took part in this amazing event where thousands of soon to be weds and over 100 wedding suppliers meet. Beautiful displays, delicious food, tasty cocktails, good music, what else could you ask for while planning your big day?
Couples were flocking over to our booth! In total, we spoke with over 350 couples throughout the 4 days. It was amazing listening to the stories of how the couples met. They told us about the stress of wedding planning & finding the perfect suppliers for their big day. We explained how they can benefit from Get Hitched as the platform matches them with professional suppliers who can really help them with what they need, be it venues, catering, entertainment and even honeymoon packages!
We also met an 100s of couples who had already used Get Hitched to find wedding suppliers in the past. This was an amazing experience for us as this was only our second year in operation. Couples had really good feedback and we enjoyed updating them with our newly launched wedding checklist. I have to say, the wedding checklist was a hit amongst couples as they shared their concern that they couldn’t find a good wedding to-do list which covered everything from the venue to the dance choreography.
We also enjoyed meeting suppliers at the fair especially those who are part of the Get Hitched family. They all had incredible booths and were super busy talking to couples.
Although these 4 days were super hectic for all the team, we have to say that we enjoyed every second of this experience. With some Prosecco, some Ed Sheeran music and good team spirit, we’re sad that it is all over ☹
We would like to congratulate the MFCC organisers for setting up such an amazing event! It’s very beneficial for couples who are planning their weddings, as well as for suppliers who want to promote their services.
